I am very pleased with this fan, overall.Not a super easy install for a novice like me, my husband completed the installation well within 2 hours, although the instruction manual was somewhat vague in certain areas, which earned this produce a slightly less than perfect rating.We chose to flush mount the fan and 3-light attachment (bulbs not included) in a smaller bedroom with an 8' ceiling. Two alternative mounting options are included. Remote controlled operation (controller included, batteries are not) is quiet at all speeds and transition is smooth, although there is a slight wobble at the highest setting only.
